Romney: Do as I say, not as I do!!
LOL
"Asked by a reporter yesterday about his use of Community Lawn Service with a Heart, Romney, who was hosting the Republican Governors Association conference in Miami, said, "Aw, geez," and walked away."
PRICELESS!!
You people make me laugh. He hired a company to work on his yard. Was he expected to walk around and demand proof of status of everyone one of those workers?
Talk to the contractor that paid them, not the person who hired the contractor. What a joke...la
Oh what a complete crock.
The story you posted has a Boston Globe reporter interviewing four people that say they are illegal immigrants working for this landscaping company that were never asked for legal papers and that they are paid $9 to $10 an hour under the table.
The Globe is trying to have it every which way to Sunday. There is no mention of legal repercussions for the employer or the workers. Is the Globe going to interview the workers of other companies that work for prominent Mass. Democrat politicians? So the Globe wants to embarass Romney because he's a Republican by highlighting illegal immigrants hired by an otherwise legal contractor, a violation of immigration laws that the Globe otherwise endorses? Please!
This is nothing but a hit job by liberal media hacks and Freepers like yourself that charachterize this as a do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do scenario. It isn't.
As another Freeper put it so well: this is like expecting a restaurant owner to disclose all of their worker's legal status before ordering food.
Just read the story.
There is no story here. If this is all they can find on him, he may be cleaner than I suspected.
