I'm not so sure the Lame Stream Media is doing enough to really "out" this cult.

I'm not quick to rush to the defense of the MSM, but I can't fault them for denying the Phelpsholes the attention they so desperately crave. They live to stir outrage. If they get people to love them, they win. If they get people to hate them, they win.

The only way the Phelpsholes lose is if they're ignored altogether, or if their shouts are met with silence. That's why I have vast respect for the Patriot Guard Riders and their resolve to confront, but not engage. They're not only doing the right thing, but doing it the right way.

Keeping media attention and public reaction away from the Phelpsholes is like keeping oxygen from reaching a flame. Deny them what they crave, and they will fade and die.

People who love this country and the men and women who fight to defend us know who these people really are. But, I fear there too many in this country who sympathize with these crazies.

I had the same fear. But in their nationwide "campaign," the Phelpsholes have rarely recruited more than a half-dozen local sympathizers. And not for a lack of trying. No, most of their "protesters" are from their own little inbred cult and cottage industry.

I agree that these people should not be given any type of forum for their lunacy. Those who have had them on these talk shows should be ashamed of themselves for promoting their hateful views. Putting them on the air for ratings shows no class IMHO. Unfortunately, the MSM is not ignoring these people, and as you've pointed out, giving them these platforms only helps them rather than hurts them. If the LSM would just report what they do as just another piece of news, and not provide the huge attention they've given to them, then I think the rest of America would see this for what it is. I concur completely. Standing silently providing a visual shield against these lunes without reacting is the best thing to do. I'm glad to know that these nutcases have not been able to recruit many from outside their cult. I hope it stays that way. I fear, though, that people like Cindy Sheehan or Code Pink might use them for their own agendas, and join their sick parade. Those people also have no shame and would do anything that would further their goals to bring down our President.
