I've met several "Homosexuals". While I don't agree with their lifestyle, they have all been very nice people who cause no one harm and are productive members of the communities in which they live. I agree with you that Jesus would "hate their behavior" but not the person. The Phelps have taken a very small number of bible versus and "bastardized" them to fit their sick agenda. My comfort is that Jesus will have the ultimate final word on their behavior. In the meantime every American who loves the men and women who fight and defend our freedoms should stand as a wall against these cretins at any funeral of a hero they show up at. If there are any funerals close enough to where I live that these people might show up at I will be there.

I agree with you. I don't like the activity of the homosexual at all. That is for God to decide. But like you, I know some homosexuals who are fine as people (just lost).
But these people are HORRIBLE beyond belief. I can't believe they would protest our fallen troops, what wretched hearts they have.
The Bible does not say, "Hate the sin, love the sinner." It says, "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he" (Prov. 23:7). And that God hates "all workers of iniquity" (Ps 5:5). "The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man" (Ps 5:6). Also "the wicked and the one who loves violence [God] hates." (Ps 11:5). Further, "The face of the Lord is against those who do evil" (Ps 34:16). God "loves righteousness and hate[s] wickedness (Ps. 45:7).
