"Shalom" would have been a better choice of a name than "Paz." I wouldn't like other kids to tease him and call him "Putz."
Shalom is a beautiful name. I have a grandson named Shalom.

True enough. But I'd bet it's more likely he'll get called Eliyphaz, from 'el and paz; God of gold.
Eliphaz was also the name of one of Job's biblical companions, one of the sons of Esau.
