A woman who was shot in the arm when she tried to protect her unborn child during a deadly shooting rampage at a Jewish center this summer has given birth to a healthy baby boy, her spokesman said.
Dayna Klein, 37, who was 17 weeks pregnant at the time of the shooting, gave birth to Charley Paz Klein on Tuesday in a Seattle hospital.
His middle name, which means peace, was chosen in memory of Pamela Waechter, who died in the July 28 shooting, said Klein's spokesman Howard Bragman on Wednesday.
Four other women were injured when a man stormed into the Jewish Federation offices and opened fire, declaring he was a Muslim angry at the United States' support of Israel.

And you and yours...? Well, I'll need to see a trauma neurologist to repair the damage your George Michael comment just caused, but otherwise we're all just fine.

Notice how there has been utter MSM silence on this since immediately after it happened?

Though most Jewish Federation offices employ Christians, the only Christian injured in this shooting was Layla Bush. She is likely still in rehab, and doctors told her fsamily that she came a centimeter from a fatal wound.

Shalom" would have been a better choice of a name than "Paz." I wouldn't like other kids to tease him and call him "Putz." Shalom is a beautiful name. I have a grandson named Shalom.
True enough. But I'd bet it's more likely he'll get called Eliyphaz, from 'el and paz; God of gold.
Eliphaz was also the name of one of Job's biblical companions, one of the sons of Esau.

She was Jewish, actually. A convert to Judaism, though.

Is there anything wrong or diminishing about that? Jewish is Jewish...

Not in the least. Jewish is absolutely Jewish.
I was offering that as an explanation as to why she might have been mistaken for Christian by our fellow FReeper.

I agree. Thanks for making this clear! And I think you might be right about the mistake.
