I know that. The poster who made the comment to which I responded says he/she is Indian American. I didn't know that because I didn't check the poster's homepage until after I responded. However unfortunate, yes, Indian Americans may also be more subject to profiling. That being said, my heritage is Irish & English, and whereas I might not be profiled on the basis of my ethnicity, I seem to have made "the list" at the airport. I haven't been able to fly once without extra baggage checks since 9/11. It's a real pain in the behind. Even so, I certainly pay attention to the ethnicity of my fellow travelers and I hope airport security is doing the same. That's just common sense.
Know many Hindus from India. All peaceful and good folks. NO threat there for terrorism but since they look differently they may at times have it difficult..As for those darn Irish? Ya hear a lot of trouble coming from them don't ya?About as much as from those trouble making Icelanders, none. :)
