I don't think Red China will stand by and watch the dollar plummet indefinitely. By the same token, I consider Red China (and Russia) as the main enemy, and I fully expect them to engage us in economic warfare when the time is ripe.

The Chinese have loaned us a tremendous amount. They have a lot of reasons to want to keep the dollar strong vs the yuan.
