I agree. He's a very nice man and a good doctor. I think he realized he just didn't have the support he needed to run. Governor would be good for him.

I doubt it. Gov. Bredesen is a fairly conservative Democrat - he was just resoundingly re-elected.

Unless Bredesen runs for President (unlikely - the moonbats will never wear it) - he'll be governor in Tennessee for as long as he wants to be.
