A leading organizer of a political action committee created to derail Senator Hillary Rodham Clintons presidential prospects is also a major contributor to Rudolph W. Giuliani, according to campaign finance reports.
The organizer, Richard Collins, a principal figure behind the group Stop Her Now, has given $10,000 to Mr. Giulianis political action committee Solutions America over the last two years, according to campaign finance disclosure documents.
On a Web site posted Monday, the Stop Her Now group says that its goals include attempting to shed light on the real Hillary Clinton and the danger she and her ideas pose for America.
Mrs. Clintons advisers predicted the groups efforts would fail. As the last campaign demonstrated, attempts to throw around inaccurate, distorted charges about Hillarys record are not going to impress the public, said Ann Lewis, a spokeswoman for Mrs. Clinton, referring to her re-election victory earlier this month.
While the Giuliani camp has no direct connection to Stop Her Now, some Democrats argued yesterday that Mr. Giuliani who seems poised for a possible presidential run of his own should disavow the personal nature of the criticisms that the group is leveling at Mrs. Clinton.
Sunny Mindel, a spokeswoman for Mr. Giuliani, declined to comment.

Sounds like an American hero.
Giuliani is a bit too liberal for my liking. Perhaps some information given to a group to sink the witch would be a good thing?
(((RUDY PING)))))
Sounds like a phony... Where was he for her last two senate campaigns???
Where were they for her last two senate campaigns???
Sounds like the NY Slimes is starting to work on the anti-Rudy campaign even before he even announces he's going to run. They still haven't gotten over the declaration of war that Rudy declared against the NY Times when he was mayor.
That's all I needed to hear - sounds good to me!
Makes sense.
Rudy is rallying the moneyed anti-Hillaries, which may propel him to the White House.
They sound familiar - I believe they were around for a while. Didn't do much good because Hillary has a tendency to garner sympathy and play the persecuted A$$ and alot of Americans believe her.
See my post #8.
Did the Slimes report similarly about the anti-Bush cadre of Barbra Streisand, and Laurie David et al from Hollywood who donate and raise millions for Hillry? I didn't think so.
He's going to help elect Hillary by contributing to Giuliani.
Do you ever research before you pop off?
The Times thinks this is news?? Must be quiet day here in NYC.
Giuliani is not the Anti-Clinton, he's just a male version of Hillary.
Did you know that it took Rudi 14 years to realize he was married to his cousin (Regina Peruggi)? How stupid is that? Or do you think he has moral issues?
I suspect Giuliani is more conservative than we think. It is commonplace for politicians to tweak their positions to be consistent with those of their constituency. And he was running in NYC, for goodness sake.
That said, as mayor, he was fiscally conservative... and in many ways socially conservative. So much so in fact that two Upper-West-Side 'progressives' I know--and the entire ACLU--see Giuliani as ultra-conservative. Fascistic even.
