(((Dita)))
Good to see you before I go to sleep!
Hope you are doing well. We are finally having cold weather...it's about 34 now. It was in the high 70s earlier today.
I knew you'd like the puppies!
Thank you! Silky is such a dear kitty..
The car is in the garage..all I've done is pull it out of the garage and back in after getting the leaves out that blew in Thanksgiving..The kitty is much better company than the car! LOL
Gwacieee...!!!
Let me check the temp. Don't have a therm, weather underground says 46°. Yesterday the high was only 63°, don't know what today was. But we're all bundled up here. (The back-East-ers are laffing, I know).
Hey, found another snapshot of you *wink, wink*
I share your sentiment.
*smiling*
for the pings and warm fuzzy chats... Time to Sleep.
Thanks for relaying your # 138 post to me!
I'm single & don't even have a Hubby yet...
I wish I had...And children and one day grandchildren!
I so look forward to those yes answers to prayer so I can be blessed with precious times like those you describe between you & yours...Enjoy!
You're welcome Dolly...
& that laughing kitten is so funny...Thanks!
Re Your 147... Ditto Dear Dita!
Bump!
Hi Dolly, the snow's still here and more came last night, but today there is another system coming in and it is supposed to start as snow and gradually turn to sleet, then freezing rain, and finally, rain, with the ultimate result expected to be a very desirable slush on the roads because it's supposed to get into the 40's today.
It took me about 15 to clean off my car, then about an hour to drive home. It usually takes me 20 to 30 min to drive home. I wanted to fill up my car & the door on the gas tank was frozen shut went home & my bro helped me get it unstuck. Had to replace a wiper blade, the ice ruined one. Went to the grocery store too since I have no idea how bad this will get eventually. They're calling for snow today, a lot of it.
Not too much trouble this morning. For a part of my drive I didn't see ANY cars, THEN I caught up with 'em, they were all driving slowly thru the icy part of town, lol.
You'll be in my prayers. God will lead you to the one who is meant for you. God Bless, and keep the faith.
Actually I had about half a tank of gas but you never know if you'll get stuck in traffic, so I thought it was a good idea to fill it up. My car gets good gas mileage, I only use about a half a tank a week most of the time, and I work at 2 jobs both about 12 miles from my house in opposite directions. It took 2 people to get the little gas door unstuck. My brother pried on the door while I pressed on the lever next to my car seat. My hubby suggested hot water. Maybe I could take rubbing alcohol with me.
The radio people said that there were few if any bad accidents because people were driving slower, I'm glad about that, I prayed too. Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you!
I appriciate that so much.
& I will!
(each statement replies to
the 3 portions of your prior response to me.
in abreviviated form...
;oD)
Glad to read you are safe!
The ice & snow are almost all melted Here today finally!
I'm hoping the temp doesn't reach freezing point again if so than the ice will continue...
Not a good thing to travel/walk on...
I'm so over it.
