It may be getting warmer for your area, but mostly it is markedly cooler across the country.

I don't mean this week or next week - I mean in general. The entire country has gotten warmer. Certain trees and animals that only live in a narrow climate band have all moved north. We now have trees in Southern Michigan that only grew in Southern Ohio & Indiana 30 years ago. Trees that grew in mid Michigan are now growing in the Upper Peninsula. Growing seasons have lengthened all over the country. I have seen palm trees growing farther north than they ever have before.

Individual winters or summers will always fluctuate up and down - but the 30 year trend has definitely gotten warmer.

No, it really isn't getting warmer. the record use of heating fuels over tha last 15 years alone points that out nicely.
