Typical liberal idiot who never set foot in the real world. Every blind person I knew could tell our current bills apart by touch alone. Still, braille on the bills is a good idea.
Canadian bills have had braille on them for quite a while now. The cost is negligible compared to all the anti-counterfeit stuff on them.
I've always wondered about the braile next to the elevators which say, use the stairs. Or the braile on the wall as I go into the dressing room at the gym which says, no males over the age of three. Do they really think someone is going to be moving along the wall looking for that message?
How did they do it before?
This is absurd.

My grandfather sure could. It took him a few minutes but I could give him 50's 20's 10's 5's and 1's in random amounts and mixed up and it would take him about 10 minutes but I could sit there and watch him sort them out. Darndest thing I ever say. And talk about a killer dominoes player!!! He had to feel the tiles but I played him Many Many games and never won a single one. He could also add and subtract in his head faster than I could on a 10 key calculator...
Absolutley! What's wrong with having braille markers on the currency.
