I assume you have tried to keep a wallet of all those different size Euro bills in order? I have and I despise them.
I've travelled all over the world and can't recall any other major country that has "one sized" bills for the different denominations.

I've done it too; it's no big deal. I keep all my same-sized American money in order by denomination, and this is really just the same thing.
