Probably a dumb decision, but has anyone actually read the decision? Who knows, maybe there is a provision in the ADA that a Judge hearing this case could not in good faith come to any other conclusion(?) If so, Congress is to blame, not the Judge. Reading the opinion and the statute is the least we owe a judge before we go off on him.

A fair point. But the statue itself is virtually a vipers' nest of complexity. See here:

[And that's without all the implementary regulations that have subsequently been enacted by administrative fiat!]

I think it's truly distressing that the Congress is able to create such a complicated monstrosity, with its maddeningly detailed controls over the lives of private citizens -- no doubt claiming Constitutional authority under the power to regulate interstate commerce. To say the Founders would turn in their graves might be the understatement of the Millenium.
