I will always hold it against Rudy that he did not run against Hillary this time. He could have done his party, his state and his country a GREAT SERVICE by removing her from the senate on November 7th.

If he had run and defeated her--he would have:
1. Kept control of the Senate for the Republicans,

2. While proving his electability for a Presidential run in two years, and

3. Most importantly, removed Hillary from Presidential contention.

He had a chance to hit a 'home run' where they know him best, where they love him, and where his liberal leanings are much more in-tune with the electorate--and he chose not to.
