Convince the jihadists that the United States is now defeated in Iraq and beyond. While no reversal of the balance of power has taken place on the ground, the jihadi propaganda machine is linking the shift in domestic politics to a withdrawal from Iraq. It projects the change in Washington as a crumbling of the political process in Baghdad and America's foreign policy.

A Two Front war fought by what some might say is now a Two headed government ,, or so they would like to believe.
One way or another, my best guess is the jihadists and/or the democRats or both will be the final casualties down the road, if the West does not lose its will or its way. Too much is at stake to lose either at this point.
There is a lot of defeatism right here on FreeRepublic....disgusting!
