Not any of us are 100% sure that Sec Rumsfeld was forced to resign or hit below the belt by Pres. Bush. Knowing Rummy, we'll probably never know. But his words and ways have always resonated with me and I hope he continues to speak out against the imbeciles who have no understanding of just what the US is trying to accomplish.

And it's a shame that the people I'd most like to read books on or by - Rumsfeld and Cheney - are the least likely to write their own books or cooperate with people who would.

But of course, Rumsfeld wanted to remain and be held hostage by the demonrats for the next two years.

He was looking forward to being hauled before every demonrat investigative committee in congress. Just couldn't wait to spend his days enduring the idiotic and un-American posturing for the media.
