The tree from Pennsylvania is the official White House Christmas tree that will be in the Bue Room.
The tree from Washington will be the Capitol Hill Christmas Tree.
The evergreen on the Ellipse will be decorated as well, and the light switch will be thrown during the Pageant of Peace. (During last year's Pageant, President Bush gave the First Lady a backside pat that made the girls behind them laugh.)

Ah.........the Ellipse! That's what it's called.
I knew I had read a sign that said it was decorated for Christmas when I was there last.
