What twisted logic.
Buchanan is off his meds again.

One hopes the Mr. Buchanan does not bleed too much from his fight with Occam's Razor.

Pat Buchanan is stark, raving mad.
Always has been.
Always will be.

I must have missed Putin's announcement about conducting a vigorous inquiry into the death in open cooperation with British authorities.

To think there was a time that I actually thought Buchanan might be a good presidential candidate.
Of course the alternative was Bob Dole or bill clinton, but now frankly I think Dole was the better choice, even though he ran one of the worst campaigns in history.

Pat makes sense. The whole thing smells. And Putin had better watch his back.

There is another thread on Free Republic reporting Litvinenko converted to Islam 2 months ago. That would make suicide very plausible.

Certainly not Putin. Litvinenko's death puts him, the Kremlin and the KGB, now the FSB, under suspicion of having reverted to the terror tactics of Stalin, who commissioned killers to liquidate enemies like Leon Trotsky, murdered in Mexico in 1940.By this logic, Stalin didn't do these things. Since he was the obvious "suspect," he had no reason to. Right, Pat?
To: Risha
Sure he's being set up. First he poisoned the president of the Ukraine, then he killed the newspaper journalist, now he poisoned and killed a fellow former KGB agent. If you belive he didn't do it, I have some beach front property for sale in Arizona.

Buchanan is just defending Putin so people can't say that all Buchanan does is defend Nazis. Sometimes he defends ex-KGB Communists too.

Buchanan has lost his mind (sometime back). Why, for example, would the London based dissidents kill him, as Putin claims? Kill their own number one dissident, just to embarrass Putin? Not very likely.
To: Risha
I'm sorry, but suicide by radiation poisoning? There have to be easier ways. I don't believe this clap-trap from Buchanan at all.

Too clever by half, as the saying goes. Putin gets the benefit if his intention is a warning to enemies. He probably does not hate it that people in other countries do not approve. Putin knows that he does not need the approval of foreigners.
