What's the charge for trying to run someone over with your car? Like, if I was driving along and saw a cop on the sidewalk, and I tried to hit him? Twice.
Because if it's not attempted murder, then what's to stop anyone from running over someone with their car if they don't like them? Or can you only commit murder with a gun?

A woman in Texas killed her husband by driving over him with her Mercedes(claiming she didn't know she had) and was convicted of murder. Not the only time a homicide has been committed by a car.
A car can make a deadly weapon. It's just that the media focuses on guns.
