In 1998 Pagones was awarded $345,000 (he sought $150 million) in suit for a defamation of character that he brought against Sharpton, Maddox, and Mason.

Was it paid?

Not to my knowledge. Rev. Al had put all his assets in his wife's name, as I recall. And the other two clowns didn't pay up, either. Under N.Y law, Pagones has 25 [?] years to collect the judgment. He can garnish wages, etc. Lots of luck on that.

He's still waiting to be paid!
