From watching the trailers the new Bond looks more like a thug than a handsome Bond character. Most women i have spoken to agree the guy sucks.

That's the impression I have from the trailers. I've always thought Bond was supposed to be handsome and sophisticated. The description you gave "thug" is exactly the vibe this one gives me.
