Just saw Burlusconi collapse while speaking to a rally in Italy.

I sure hope that Burlusconi hasn't been near the same people as that Russian spy that recently died.

Berlusconi falls ill during political speech
Berlusconi falls ill during political speech
Associated Press, THE JERUSALEM POST
Nov. 26, 2006 Former Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi slumped at the podium during a speech to political supporters in northern Italy Sunday, and supporters said he had fallen ill because of the strong emotion of the speech.
After some 40 minutes of railing against Premier Romano Prodi's center-left government, Berlusconi suddenly looked weak and aides rushed to his side to prop him up as he gripped the podium, live television footage showed. Fellow conservative politician Marcello Dell'Utri told the crowd to stay calm and wait until Berlusconi returned to speak, while another supporter, former Chamber of Deputies speaker Irene Pivetti, told the crowd that Berlusconi had "fallen ill because the tension, because of the emotion" of the speech.

Interesting how the EU only goes after conservatives for corruption. Come to think of it, we have the same policy in the US.

Thank you for correction. I'm working too fast this morning.

What do you call this:
LAST March, Costas Karamanlis, just elected as Greek prime minister, shocked his countrymen by announcing that the country was "effectively run by five davatzides (pimps)". His use of underworld slang was meant to discredit a group of businessmen whose cosy relationship with the previous Socialist government and local media bosses had given them an edge in winning public contracts worth over euro 2 billion ($2.5 billion) a year in the run-up to the 2004 Olympics. A clean-up of public life, seen by most Greeks as deeply corrupt after many years of Socialist rule, has become a priority for Mr Karamanlis's centre-right government.
