.... a judge allowed him to keep his passport when he was released from custody prior to sentencing. A condition of Shumpert's release was that he surrender the passport prior to his sentencing, which was scheduled for Tuesday.

The person who wrote this article left out critical information.
1. Who was the incompetent judge?
2. Is he (the judge) local, state, or federal?
3. What was the scum convicted of?
4. Why was he released pending sentencing?

While not as slanted and biased as the NYT, the level of journalism is right down there with the crap that the MSM delivers on a regular basis.

It only answered #2 & #3:

to avoid prison after he was convicted on federal counterfeiting and weapons charges.
