I'm not sure how we could apply this concept to our special circumstance, of being ruled by a government that is subjecting us to an alien invasion, but the concept is there, ready to be reworked and re-applied once we figure out the correct way to put all the pieces together.
You are right of course however, we, as a nation, no longer have the backbone (thanks to traitor dumbocraps and the media) to stick it out in a declared war let alone go after our own corrupt government. The US not-so-supreme Court has taken away most of the protections guaranteed by the US Constitution and we stood by and did nothing.
