A little better, but still too small! It's my home town. They turn the Plaza lights on at Thanksgiving.

Then in 1977, there was a BIG FLOOD on the Plaza, and they had to re-wire ALL the plumbing. (I'm tellin' ya....it's the TURKEY!)

Hey, hey the Country Club Plaza!! I have fond memories of Christmastime and going there to see the lights and the animated displays in the store windows. I think JC Penny's had a train for the kids.

I grew up in Kansas City. We went down to the plaza for the lights every year. Every couple of years we would go from the lighting. Way cool. We haven't been home a Christmastime in several years, thanks for posting this picture.

My family goes to the Williamsburg Grand Illumination every year. We take the kids and go watch the fireworks and then have coffee. It is different then the plaza, but about the same number of people so up.
