There were several dozen different conspiracy groups that assembled, unaware of each other, that day in Dallas. Half of those in Dealy Plaza were with one or another conspiracy group. After the tragic event they all left, still unaware of each other, but all sure it was someone else who did it.

But what was Karl Rove's role? From what I understand, Rove was positioned on the grassy knoll while Bush was in an undisclosed position spotting for Oswald.

But for many, I think the will to believe in the grand conspiracy has decidedly non-ideological motivations. It just feels good to believe that one is part of the initiated minority that knows the actual story. For this group, history is a Gnostic phenomenon in which the real truth is passed from believer to believer outside the official scripture. Let the common fools believe the pabulum they are fed by the history books, you and I know what really happened.
The special knowledge is an entrance requirement to the elitist club that is today's American Left.

When vicious MORONS run a country this is what you get:
"In Chavezs nut run Venezuela, the parliament recently passed a resolution declaring as historical fact that 9/11 was an inside job perpetrated by Bush to justify imperialism against the good people of the world, such as Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong Il, Ayatollah Khamenei, and Fidel Castro."

September 11 convinced me of thator, more specifically, the conspiracy theories that have grown up around September 11. The 9/11 moonbats are now playing on CSPAN Book TV (well actually at 12:30 am Pacific Time/3:30 am EST and again Saturday, 7 pm Pacific, 10 pm Eastern.
Here's the descrption:
9/11 and American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out David Ray Griffin, Peter Dale Scott, Peter Phillips, Kevin Ryan, Ray McGovern Description: Editors and contributors to the book, "9/11 and American Empire," assess the Bush administration's responsibility for the attacks on 9/11, arguing that key administration officials either purposefully ignored the threats leading up to the attacks or were complicit in the planning them. The panelists say that the administration has used the attacks to enact long established plans to expand American empire. The participants are: David Ray Griffin (co-editor/contributor), Peter Dale Scott (co-editor/contributor), Peter Phillips (contributor) and Kevin Ryan (contributor). Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern moderates the discussion.
Don't miss it.

Next time you talk to a moonbat in real life, ask them if they've heard about it & what they think.

Right. Yale Skull and Bones - CIA types always hang around the scene of their assassination coups with hands in pockets to get photographed.
Of course, if G.H.W. Bush wanted to be president so bad he would have assassinated Reagan, too. Yes? So he must have been behind the Hinckly thing too.

It was JFK himself, with the help of Kryten, Lister, Rimmer, and the Cat. (Red Dwarf reference).

One word stuck in my head, in all this - bizarro.
And I thought I had the nut-hatch explanation with LBJ (who had WAY the most to gain by knocking off JFK) being the driving force behind the JFK assassination.
As a way to get back at Bobby.
But hey, wasn't Bobby assassinated while LBJ was still President?
