Canada was not founded on christian foundings like America was so this does not surprise me. I don't want it in America but what other countries do especially since a lot of other countries are socialist does not bother me as much. Keep it in Canada though. lol.

You've got to be joking. Where do you think our forefathers came from, India?

From the preamble of our constitution....

Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law

"Canada was not founded on christian foundings like America ..."

Smug, self-righteous Americans really don't do their nation any favors.

The first line of Canada's Constitution:
"Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law"

BTW, Christians generally capitalize the name of our Lord as well as that of our Faith.

Your statement is based in ignorance and is embarrassingly provincial in the worst meaning of the word.

I am an American (ok, for this riposte - a United Statesian). I consider myself extremely fortunate to be one. I have also lived a good portion of my life overseas and paradoxically find the average (middle class or above) citizen of almost any other country to be better educated and to have more class than most Americans. Your boorish statement is a perfect illustration of what I am referring to.
