It's one thing to be critical of someone, especially when criticism is warranted. We all give it, and we all accept it when it is deserved. I'm sure we all have our disagreements with Rush, but there are constructive ways to express them.
Personally bashing Rush on the Rush thread (i.e. "Rush is an a$$hole", "Rush is a jerk", "Rush isn't a real man", etc.) is something entirely different, and is something trolls like to do. If you don't like being referred to as a troll, don't act like one.
And don't expect to slither away unscathed when you attack El Rushbo. Plenty of FReepers here will instinctively cover his back. If you give, EXPECT to get.
Finally, don't take it so personally--Most everything that goes on here is all in good fun. That's what makes FR what it is.

When I say things like "Rush is a jerk", he usually is.
When I said, "Rush is an a$$hole" ...... that is not decent, is totally uncool, and wrong. I apologize for that.
But, when I say Rush is not to be held in high esteem that is totally correct.
He needs to retire. He is more of a problem than a solution. Read # 213 again.
Some people know much more of Rush than you do.
