I used to agree with you but am slowly changing my mind since November 7th. Look, we can run someone who is very conservative (like Hunter, for example) but who has little experience and who doesn't know how to start a conservative movement..and then we'll lose. Or we can nominate Newt who is a brilliant thinker and has proven that he knows how to turn America red.
Newt does have some baggage because of his personal life - but most real conservatives are willing to look past that because he has proven himself politically. We need another great thinker - and I'm afraid no one fits that bill but Newt. As Rush said, all candidates have baggage. Either baggage they created or baggage the MSM will create.
