I could tolerate Rudy but we need a conservative house and senate to offset Rudy's liberal leanings.

That is the key. I hope Rudy is smart enough to realize that the whole country does not want nationalized health care, gun control, gay marriage, taxpayer subsidized abortion on demand, etc. and he would act accordingly. Hillary on the other hand would see the Presidency as an opportunity to force this and more on everyone. In any case, a conservative house and senate is vitally important.

I was listening to Neal Boortz for a while this afternoon, he read a survery result that indicates onlu 8.8% of the population is conservative, 14% is liberal and 32% consider themselves libertarians. These are numbers to consider when we say only a far right conservative can win in 2008.
