Look, we don't elect Hunters or for that matter, Lincolns anymore. That's not the way the world works. The media screens everyone and they will not allow another conservative. Truth is, Bush's election in 2000 is seen by the liberal media as an accident; and it probably was.

The skids are getting greased for Hillary. Know how I can tell? She's started wearing a small crucifix in public. The media is letting up some on religion. Look, Bob Casey got in and Sixty Minutes didn't even "investigate" his pro life stance. The MSM and Hillary are through pissing off the Christians; at least openly. They want to put the Christians asleep, and it's working: look at the Nov. 7 results.

I'm afraid you are 100% correct. I was talking to a flaming liberal acquaintance the other day & was startled by the change in her. She was saying we all need to just get along and both parties need to "work together for change". She was meek & polite about it - not blustering & all up in my face - as she usually is. I actually had to swallow a small amount of vomit that came up in my mouth as I was listening to her.

They've all received their new talking points now. The dims "have found religion" all of a sudden. Hillary's big PR machine is now up & running.

Well said. But while they view 2000 it as an accident, it was more a watershed, that went down to the wire because liberal America was still very strong.

Sad that you look at it that way. Not even giving the best candidate the chance!! I guess we should be happy to just throw away the Reagan principles even when we'd FINALLY have a candidate that would be able to make a strong campaign for those principles and be an effective speaker for them? He's a fighter. I've seen him and it's sad you want to say 'no chance' and settle for what you think the media will give a chance.
