I think you are wrong about Newt on that score.

He married the woman. The end.

Regardless it appears he is going on a rebuilding effort. We, including you, would all be foolish to not support educating the public.

As it stands now, Hitlary has kept quiet for six years. She is cultivating her wall street connections and perfect the use of third parties to win elections.

They know how to dress like DINOS.

Saying Newt is akin to der slickmeister does not help republicans rebuild.

Saying Newt is akin to der slickmeister does not help republicans rebuild.

Didn't say he was that bad. But the fact that he left his wife on her deathbed for all practical purposes, to have her served divorce papers, to take up with the new whatever... just will never, never, never sit well with the base.

It plays to every RAT condemnation of the party as devoid of humanity. And Newt makes a poster boy for that. The subtext of having him as the party rep would be devastating.

I agree with you that his education effort is valuable. Just not as our presidential candidate. He will come across as a hypocrite...and by implication...all of conservatism with him.

Time to start fresh.

Yes, Newt married BOTH of the women he committed adultery with; the last one was his secretary and they had sexual congress in Newt's OFFICE among other places. It wasn't with an intern; it was actually worse, since she was a direct employee and paid by the taxpayers.

Newt IS the reverse of the same coin as Slick Willie. They share far more than they don't. Newt IS a New Agey kinda guy and a Third Wayer.
