Bandow: The Status Could Be Delayed Again If Russia Opposes Kosova Independence
Pristina, – Its hard to impose the solution for Kosova's status because the international community has no united stand, declared the US analyst and ex-advisor of former US president, Ronald Regan, Doug Bandow.
According to him if Russia continues to categorically oppose Kosova's independence then the negotiations could be delayed. This political analyst reiterated that Washington thinks that if both sides are not ready to come to a solution regarding Kosova's final status then this will be done by the UN, which, according to him it would be independence.
“In case the solution is imposed, the international community would be ready to support Kosova's independence with an explanation that this is the only durable solution. This would be conditional independence, which won’t be accepted by Serbia but they won’t conduct a military action” said Bandow.
However according to him we should determine the degree of independence, the situation the north of Ibër river, the defense of the Serbian enclaves, the decentralization and the relation between the Serbian regions with Belgrade.
“All of this could be complicated and destabilizing. This is why the international community acts in an irresolute way and aims for both sides to achieve a solution” stated analyst Doug Bandow.

Can you believe this??? They actually admit their biasness....????? Imposed? The 1244 says nothing about being imposed. If they impose the independence, then this is an admitance that the UN, US, NATO...all have failed in the UN mandate....thus they convolute the very law that is established in my opinion, to instigate more violence and planned instability. I don't see any agenda for peace but the international community (minus the ones actually trying to make a difference but can't due to their leaders), has an agenda to keep the conflict brewing and to actually expand it to North Mitrovica, Presevo and Macedonia. BS!!!!!
It's for the Muslim state.....but the international community has oil, natural gas and Russia in their sights......
