Where did everyone go? Last minute grocery shopping?
LOL! Hey, jhw! Actually, I'm searching for ways to keep the turkey moist during cooking, via Google. The "upside down" technique is pretty interesting. I might actually give that a try!
I hear basting doesn't really help that much, if at all. But as far as the breast goes, I've read that oiling/buttering between the skin and the meat before sliding it into the oven helps to keep that part of the bird moist.
Robert Spencer from JihadWatch.org is coming up on The Savage Nation later this hour! Can't wait!
Different techniques for all! HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!
Probably...
But I also wonder about Michael Alan Weiner's mental health. Y'know he got his Doctorate in Herbal Healing from UCLA Bezerkly back in the days when they gave Carlos Casteneda a PhD. in Anthropology for his lunatic stories about how hallucinogenics make you smarter.
And Savage is abnormally obsessed and uncomfortable with human sexuality.
The only logical conclusion I can draw after listening to him is that the man is nuts.
.
Buy coin!
We tried the Alton Brown Good Eats turkey two different years. It's probably too late for you to do it now, but maybe try his recipe out some future Thanksgiving:

The airport muslims have the ACLU/CAIR legal buzzwords down pat. Straight out of the lefty oppressed racist lawsuit playbook.
Wow, slow thread.
dunno... prolly playing with his Savage Weiner and his democrat friends
Perhaps if you had worn a uniform you would know that to appear in uniform in a military courts martial or sentencing is out of respect to the court.
S**t, I missed it. How long was the interview?
Cook breast down.... makes a huge difference in how tender and moist the breast is.
JFK was a liberal welfare-stater in the mold of FDR.
RFK went a long way toward stimulating my interest in politics. In 1968, I was so scared as to what he might do if he were president that I began informing myself about political affairs, speaking out, and eventually getting involved.
I addressed my comment to Tarkus. Are you saying that Tarkus is really the Weiner?
I could understand an argument regarding political or cultural philosophy, but you entered into an area where your adoration of Dr. Weiner is only exceeded by your ignorance. Running a military unit requires a similar level of education and experience to that of a surgeon. I am a combat infantry man and have been in many firefights, but I would never presume to be able to "run a military". Savage has never heard a shot fired in anger or smelled the burnt stench of an abdominal wound and is no more prepared than a kindergarten teacher to a military force. Fighting a battle is not as easy as categorizing Pacific flora. You might want that pompous ass poking around in your chest cavity, but I will leave that real professionals. When it comes to strategy and maneuver I will leave that to the real professionals too.
"Said he deserves most of the credit for the ports deal not going through, and since the GOP didn't give him credit, he won't support them in any way."
What a dork... can't believe anyone takes him seriously.
I agree with everything you wrote. I also agree with everything Checkers wrote. Pointing out Bush's flaws does not make Savage a conservative.
