"They" have the power to do that very quickly. A friend was personal friends with one of Bush's original cabinet appointees...he gave her his "secret number" (which his secretary told him NOT to do) and in a few minutes my friend got a call simply telling her that the number she was given was no longer in service

I'd bet she didn't have anything with personal information in her purse and her cell phone was locked.
