Obviously, you don't know how welfare works.

Please stop telling me what I obviously do and don't know and start telling me why you think government should stop consenting adults from entering into any relationship they want because you think it might have an effect on welfare.

Also, please note that most of the world is not composed of Mormon religious off-shoots with self-proclaimed prophets dispensing teen brides to old men.

People who want to be polygamous are already legally free to enter into these "relationships," aren't they? Because they already do, don't they?

The question is, should your state, or all the states, be required to grant marriage-like recognition to all possible permutations and combinations of freely-associated people?

If we put that to a vote, I am confident that I know what the answer would be.
