Most of these guys are losers anyway. Doubt they paid a dime in taxes since they were born.

And could couples opt out their marriage licenses that they would NOT be open to polygamy, or could any husband just spring a new wife on you one day? Do both partners have to consent? Oh, gee, what a mess.

Let's face it. My husband could come home and tell me he wants a divorce. Or he might even come home and tell me he has a mistress. Or that he has a mistress and wants a divorce.

BUT - at least - I can go to bed at night knowing that he won't come home with a second wife! (Not that I'm anticipating any of the above to happen...)

"Why would you deny right of another woman to marry a man, just because one already did it?"

If it were my husband, you're darn right I would deny her "that right!"

Of course we knew this was coming; the liberals did this with their adoption of moral relativism.

I blame the Old Testament, myself.

What about women? Can they have more than one husband? Seems fair, no?

Muslims can take up to 4 wives. This will help with Sharia Law where applicable.

This is very important, who wants these haters breeding with 4 women and counting on welfare from us infidels to support a growing population that hates us? France anyone?

Regards.

In all of this, all I ever see is multiple wives mentioned.

I have seen one (1) plural "marriage" of a woman with three "husbands", but that was 1960s Berzerkely.

It is almost always seems to be about having a steady supply of younger, warmer pockets to keep "junior" warm in, on an otherwise cold, headachy night.

One woman complicates your life so much, why would anyone want more then one?

Well, I was going to try polygamy but so far I've only found one woman who would marry me.

What do you think those first wives feel like when they see their husband taking his next wife.

Do you feel it materially different from this when a divorce happens in between?

Face it, America. We already have legal polygamy. The only catch is it has to occur serially and not concurrently.

In her battle to legalize polygamy, the only thing Valerie hasn't revealed is her last name

I bet she hasn't revealed her affiliation with the Dimm party, either.

Guess TWP is picking up signs that Romney could be a formidable candidate.

Surely you can come up with a better argument against polygamy than that. The current legal structure can be easily modified to handle polygamy.

The problem with poligamy is that after 3 generations, you have a 50% chance of marrying a cousin. Poligamy shuts some many men out of the gene pool: they are driven out of the community, and can lead to severe genetic problems in a population. (Hence, the Mormons) This is called "Founder's Syndrome", where a recessive genenetic problem gets spread throughout a community.

You have not been exposed to very many polygamists have you. Most wives would not trade their life for anything in the world.

Hmmm...this would be newsworthy if they wanted to criminalize bigamy rather than decriminalize it.
