This is actually good news. Teen out of wedlock childbirths are the larger problem. And while they are outnumbered by out of wedlock childbirths by women in their 20's, they make up about half of all
first out of wedlock childbirths. These are the ones that
create poverty. The increase is because of (1) continuing numbers of poor women who already hopped off the marriage track when they had their first illegitimate child, and (2) affluent women choosing to have children out of wedlock. (1) is phasing out, and (2) is the left committing moral suicide. It is also a good evangelism tool (I would probably not be a Christian if my atheist parents stayed married).
