Well, I'll say the main problem for me would be my breastfeeding baby WILL NOT take the bottle from me. He freaks out, flails wildly & screams & cries. Takes it from Dad like a champ (he can smell the "good stuff" when I hold him). Clearly, if he were hungry enough, he'd eventually tire out and take it from me, after who knows how long (I've gone up to a half hour) of screaming. Given that, most passengers on a plane probably would prefer a little boobage being seen.

I had the same problem. I could not feed my kid a bottle. Someone else had to. Also, the only way I could pump breast milk was if I was nursing on the other breast. I had "issues" with let down on a machine. LOL

Don't you love how some people think breastfeeding is such a simple choice? Obviously, it's technically less complicated that fixing bottles. However maintaining the supply, nursing schedules, nipple confusion, etc is quite different from bottle feeding.

Anyone can bottle feed. Nursing is a full time committment!
