Fine, let's revisit how you would've reacted:

"Personally, I would have accepted the blanket, said "Thank you very much," and put it under my baby's bottom"

The steward(ess?) gave the be-yotch (I'm sorry, "passenger") the blanket for a reason: cover your tit. He/she was rebuffed and escalated the situation to Stage 2 - the flight attendant. The flight attendant came over, reiterated the request and was rebuffed. The attendant escalated it to Stage 3: pretty please with corporate sugar on top, get the F off our plane. We'll get you on another flight tomorrow, but get off this one because your attitude is all wrong.

Obviously, the be-yotch didn't make the same mistake on the back-up flight the next day.

The blanket was not for the baby's bottom, not for it's head, it was to cover the tit. They were in a 747 owned by a corporation that has, you know, every kind of passenger under the sun, not a nudist colony.

Why is that hard for you? Why would you think the blanket was for the baby's bottom when the steward made clear it was to cover the mammary. Just take the F-ing blanket and get this...BE NICE! OMG...imagine that!!!
