If Tuffy did that, all sorts of things would run out.
Oh? Where did you find such a policy? The Delta website has no such policy listed.
I haven't heard of that. Nursing moms forcing 8 year olds in restaurants, buses, and planes to nurse? That's new.
Oh, reaaaallly! And yet we have all those examples on this thread of your overheated comments about nipple flashing, and protecting your family from breastfeeders, and so on.....
Care to pick a personality and stick with it for a while?

I guess that would be one reply for each of your personalities.... :-/
Of course, there are some of us who consider it a bonus.... ;-)
Does Delta have any signs posted regarding breastfeeding? Maybe they could make pictures for those who can't read. lol
There's nothing on their website about it. In fact, here are Delta's only two mentions of breast feeding. Nary a word about it being prohibited.
Delta's Contract of Carriage is right here:
http://images.delta.com.edgesuite.net/delta/pdfs/contract_of_carriage_dom.pdf
Page 10 outlines their Refusal to Transport clause. Check it out. They can kick your butt of their plane for just about anything, and they should be allowed to.
Do I have to do the homework for most everyone here? Gawd....
Yet if they wear a low cut blouse and a man looks he's a pig and a pervert.
The word "breast" does not appear in the document. Next?
"I, for one, find it sad and disturbing to see a baby fed a bottle of formula. To me, it shouts of the mother's basic inconsideration of what is best for her baby. I'd find it more considerate of her to nurse"
Why is everyone here so willing to judge others without knowing their circumstances?
I think this woman should have been left alone to breast feed her child in peace.
I have breast fed and I have bottle fed. All my children are fine.
I have an inflammatory condition that makes breast feeding extremely painful - and I thought it was better for the baby not to feed from a stressed out mother who hated the sensation of nursing.
I had one baby who was gentler than the others and I found it bearable with him - so he was the one I succeeded in nursing.
So why should you be "disturbed" if you run into me in public and I'm giving my baby a bottle?
I think I read that the captain tried to get the family to return to the plane, but they refused.
