"WASHINGTON – More Iraqi troops should be committed to the fight against the insurgency and sectarian violence in Baghdad and Anbar before any decisions are made on the use of U.S. forces, House Armed Services Committee Chairman Duncan Hunter said yesterday.

Hunter, R-Alpine, said thousands of trained and equipped Iraqi soldiers are stationed in areas where there is little or no violence and they should be sent where the fighting is. He was reacting to reports that a Pentagon study group created by Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff"

IIRC, the Iraqis are fighting WITH coalition forces in Baghdad and Anbar. Why can't we let them train and learn before we leave them alone before they are ready? Within the next 6 weeks, ISF are scheduled to be in the lead in 75% of the country.
