Acorn was discussed on the World Over Live on EWTN last Friday by Raymond Arroyo with regard to the support that it had received from the Campaign for Human Development which is sponsored by the USCCB.
All of the Catholic Diocese have to support the Campaign for Human Development.
Is ACORN open for a RICO action?
Just another example of the times we are in: Good against Evil. We will win in the end.
Because the people who hire on are brainwashed, USEFUL IDIOTS.
ping to #21 - another reason never to give CHD a dime.
That was the second collection last week. CHD was already on our never-give list along with Maryknoll and Glenmary, but it was for their support of abortion (a few levels removed, that's how they get away with it). ACORN's just a little extra treat.
Our church did not have a second collection for CHD last week eventhough it was scheduled in our diocese.
There is a possiblity that our church may have paid an assesment to the diocese. Who knows? Our church pays 28% of all money collected each week to the diocese!
Obviously they're political trash, but anything else prompt this reaction?
