Shahin expressed frustration that _ despite extensive efforts by him and other Muslim leaders since even before the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks _ so many Americans know so little about Islam. Dear Shahin, you would be surprised how well versed Americans are in the particulars of Islam.
