Fox News Channel is preparing a new Saturday night comedy show tailored to its largely right-leaning audience. . . . The show would take aim at "the sacred cows of the left that dont get lampooned very much by other comedy shows, according to Joel Surnow, co-creator of "24 and one of the executive producers of the new Fox program.
"Its a satirical news format that would play more to the Fox News audience than the Michael Moore channel, he told the Hollywood reporter.
"It would tip more right as The Daily Show tips left.

Sounds like somehing right up the alley of a Rush Limbaugh. Rush has been doing this forever, and so have a bunch of other right-leaning talk show hosts and commentators.

The Daily Show seems to have pushed shows like SNL further to the left. Sometimes it seems like they're not even trying to be funny anymore.

Last week I dumped cable tv, in favor of over the air HDTV. $600 a year for Fox News Channel is too much for this retired old bird.

He does this segment where he calls up fast food stores around Chicago and says "Hi, this is Jose. I'm not coming in to work today." He usually gets one that has a Jose.

I'm hoping for a BS (Barbara Streisand) look-alike to present the wacky-left positions and opinions.
