I was watching National Geographic TV a couple weeks back and they had a special on Free Masons. They speculated that Jack the Ripper was a Free Mason because of some graffiti he wrote on a wall, which the chief of police, also a Mason, ordered washed away.
There is, however, no truth to the claim that Jack preferred to have his victims with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
