I believe I read a small article about the youth in South Korea being unhappy with their leadership's 'friendly' attitude towards the North.

Uh Oh... the libs will not like this.

So true Kitten, they've seen GW in the pilot's outfit and don't want Iraqis to go through what their parents and grandparents went through after we left.

Emailing them to the MSM now... after a posting at DU of course.

I would pay top dollar at Christies to get a picture of GW looking disapprovingly at the photo of Kerry in the Vietnam War museum.

I have not heard a peep about Kerry in that museum. Not even from Fox. I've been disappointed. Or did I miss it?

Quote of the Day.

When do you think we will defeat communism in the USA?

Interesting that Bush and America are popular in Vietnam, which after the war and all you'd think would hate us, but hated in Indonesia, which being our longtime ally you'd think would love us. Funny how that works.

Not funny at all - this should clear things up: Indonesia — Religion: Muslim 88%, Protestant 5%, Roman Catholic 3%, Hindu 2%, Buddhist 1%, other 1% (1998 - bet those number have shifted a bit since then)

Yes, assuming it wasn't batting around a rubber mouse an hour before it was served up to you, if you get my drift.

vietnamese aren't muslims-they're mostly buddhist and some large minority of christians-so i guess they don't hold grudges for 800 years or so-in any event they'll be producing electronics when muslims are still using their left hands for toilet paper

They don't even hold grudges 30 years! In any case, all the young screaming teenagers who love Bush don't remember the war anyway.

Well, having rock star status isn't that much to brag about. Clinton seems to have the same status in Europe.

But it is refreshing to see involved teenagers who understand politics in Vietnam.

Quiz: How many times did those media a**holes use the word "defeat" above?

We never lost a major engagement with the North Vietnamese or Viet Cong. Ever. Militarily, our troops mopped the floor with 'em.

It was the Fondas and Kerrys and their ilk that "lost" that war, aided and abetted by (you guessed it) the liberal MSM.

F**k 'em. I despise them; I hold no grudge whatsoever against the Vietnamese. None. They're a young people (majority of the country were born after the war) who look to the US as a beacon of freedom and prosperity. They're one up on that same group (e.g. the Fondas, Kerrys, etc.).
