Nameless Mormons are like all other nameless candidates.
Once they see Mitt is not a 3 headed monster with as many wives and hundreds of children I think they will not be so ignorant.

Personally for me religion does not mean a thing. I go for the way a candidate stands on the issues that are important to me and also what he has done in office.

I agree. I wonder how many of the 19% who knew he was Morman would support him. This should be a relatively easy hurdle, like the first catholic, the first womanizer/abuser, etc. Besides, he is cute.

I wouldn't have much of a problem with multiple wives ... as long as they were of legal age when they first got married and he is able to support his family.
Truth is, most voters do not really take religion into account when they vote. I would have a problem with a Muslim candidate because I have actually studied the Quran and know just how dangerous that book really is.

Once they see Mitt is not a 3 headed monster with as many wives and hundreds of children I think they will not be so ignorant. This is the rub. Lots of people associate Mormons with polygamists, whether or not the connection is justified. If Romney is the candidate, expect a DBM anal exam of Mormonism which will include incessant mentions of polygamy.

You just enjoy the rest of this thread. You'll see ignorance on parade.
