But the thing is, the "palaeos" think that the CFR is one of the major organs of the "Zionist conspiracy."
***
So things are not as they appear? and have they been intentionally deceptive for the sake of confusion, covering the bases, talking out of both sides of mouth? Don't know what the definition of a paleocon is.
Have they evolved into this antiIsrael/antiZionism position or has it always been clearly theirs?
CFR membership lists are all over the web
http://www.mega.nu/ampp/roundtable/CFRA-Elist.html Tons of conservatives who I assume are pro-Israel are on it: Sharansky, Netanyahu, Olmert, Tony Snow??
So which is it - Is this group actually deceptive (and counterfeiting as proIsrael) but in reality out to take away the land of Israel that was given back to God's Chosen Jewish people by God Himself in 48, and give it to the gentiles wrongly?
You don't seem to be understanding what I'm trying to say. The "palaeoconservatives" (the anti-Semitic, pre-WWII right and its descendants) have always blamed Communism on a super "Zionist conspiracy." The Council on Foreign Relations has always been named as a (perhaps the) primary organ of this "one world conspiracy."
What I'm trying to tell you is that the anti-Zionist right, which has always blamed "Zionism" for the UN and the CFR, is either going to have to ignore the CFR's current anti-Zionist propaganda (in order to continue to pretend the CFR is "Zionist") or else decide that the CFR isn't that bad after all.
The anti-Zionist right has a long tradition of ignoring leftwing anti-Zionism (by Communists and the UN, for example) because it conflicts with their "the Zionists run Communism and the UN" dogma.
